Leaving from the historic Key Largo Anglers Club, a short boat ride will take us through immaculate mangrove channels and out to the open Atlantic ocean, where crystal clear tropical water covers vast expanses of living coral reef. These coral formations make up the only living coral reef in the continental United States, and are home to hundreds of different tropical species of fish. The Gulfstream current, one of the world’s largest open ocean currents, lies just offshore of these reefs, and is home to huge gamefish and pelagic species.
Head out with the family for some exciting reef fishing and catch your dinner, or venture offshore and hunt for a trophy Sailfish. With such a wide variety of species that call this tropical paradise home, offshore and reef fishing can be either a laid back family affair, or a thrilling sportfishing pursuit. I have more than two decades of experience fishing the nearshore and offshore waters of Key Largo, and I will work my hardest to make sure that you have a memorable fishing adventure.

A half day is four hours long, a full day is eight. My 27' Conch can accommodate up to six anglers, but four or less is preferable for comfort and fishability. I will provide bait, tackle, ice, bottled water for drinking, all necessary fishing licenses, and at the end of the day I will fillet your catch for you. You should bring any food or snacks you may want for the trip.
A note about offshore and reef fishing: Typically, if you are just looking to go Reef fishing, a half day is great. If you would like to go Offshore and look for sailfish, dolphin, and tuna, I recommend a full day, as this type of fishing involves catching our own live bait in the morning and a slightly longer run to the fishing grounds. A full day also affords us the opportunity to try multiple types of fishing and techniques.
Half day (4 hours) $700 / Full day (8 hours) $1050
Whether you’re interested in going flats fishing or offshore and reef fishing, I can accommodate you. If you can’t find what you are looking for here, or would like to talk to me in person, please give me a call anytime!
